Second Term: 1998 - 1999
Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji sworn in as PM again. After two governments fall in the period of 1996 - 1998,
A.B Vajpayee served as PM for 13 months.

- Nuclear Bomb Testing - During the tenure of A.B Vajpayee India conducted 5 underground Nuclear tests in Pokran, Rajasthan. Which Shocked and Surprised the whole World.
- The Lahore Summit - Vajpayee started diplomat peace process with Pakistan, With the Historic inauguration of Delhi - Lahore Bus service.
- Invasion of Kargil - The incursion around Kargil by Pakistan military and militants. Operation Vijay begins in June 1999 to retaliate Pakistani militants and Army, And successfully Re-captured the territory by India.
